Terms Any signed order implies the acceptance of the terms and conditions of sale of Pianos Prestige.
Special factory orders and manufacture-to-measure orders cannot be cancelled. The technical information and photographs presented by Pianos Prestige are those of the manufacturers, given as an indication, characteristics are subject to change without notice.
All the prices indicated are in euros, tax included. All estimates or invoices pro format are valid for 15 days.
Conditions
Payment Pianos Prestige reserves ownership of the goods delivered until the integral payment of the outstanding principal including interest. The simple handing-over of a title of payment does not constitute a payment.
The provisions above do not relieve the purchaser of the risks of loss or deterioration. Any default on reimbursing the totality of the purchase price including interest gives Pianos Prestige the right to demand the immediate return of the delivered merchandise. The expenses incurred for this return will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
We accept payments by cheque, mandate or transfer. We do not accept cheques issued by banks domiciled outside French territory nor cheques labelled "Eurocheque".
Orders less than 500 euros are payable in advance. Orders above that amount can be paid upon delivery for a 3% fee based on the outstanding balance. Orders are confirmed as soon as the original stamped order is received. We accept purchase orders and payments by treasury mandates.
Outside Metropolitan France, all orders must be paid for in advance. All payments are subject to verification and may require guaranties.
You can be fully reimbursed within 10 days or receive credit for a future purchase. Delivery charges will also be reimbursed if the return results from an error on our part.
In accordance with article L 121-16 of the Code de la Consommation, you can return your order within 7 days at your expense.
Please be advised that to validate and process your request for return:

we must receive your request by any means possible in order to record it;

the return must be sent to our address, 6 Crosses Notre Dame 13100 Aix-en-Provence, intact, unused, unassembled and in the original packaging correctly sealed with delivery pre-paid. All returns with delivery due will be refused.

Warranty
Warranty coverage for new acoustic pianos is 5 years + 5 extra years provided by Pianos Prestige for the keyboard mechanism; 1 year + 4 extra years provided by Pianos Prestige for the keyboard mechanism for second-hand acoustic pianos; 2 years for new acoustic pianos with integrated electronics; 1 year for accessories; 1 year for second-hand electronic materials. Speakers are guaranteed for 3 months.
Not included in the warranty: piano tuning, piano strings and disk drives.
Materials delivered conform to French norms; instruction booklets are in French.
During the warranty period we assume full responsibility :
> for replacing defective parts without charge,
> labour charges.
The warranty does not cover :
> normal wear and tear,
> damage and maladjustments, noises, cracks and all defects due to climatic variations,
> incidents covered by your insurance,
> round-trip delivery charges for defective materials,
> visits to your home by a technician,
> problems due to faulty use or maintenance,
> problems caused by intensive professional use (materials used in public spaces are not guaranteed).
Also excluded from the warranty : damage done to the case by blows, deterioration, discolorations, bumping, rubbing, damage done by animals, damage as a result of not following the instruction manual, by faulty use of the electronics, modification or transformation without permission from the manufacturer and all electrical failures due to fuses that don’t conform to the manufacturer’s standards. For musical instruments, the warranty is subject to the following precautionary measures: instruments should be stored where the relative humidity varies between 60% and 70% maximum; they should not be subjected to excessive heat (above 22°C), to drafts or excessive humidity; they must not be placed against heating elements, the chimney, near heating vents, picture windows or in direct sunlight. Heating through the floor, heating vents, pulsed air, the chimney or any other heating method that dries out the air must be corrected to maintain normal humidity levels. Musical instruments should not be subjected to sudden variations in temperature.
Acoustic pianos should be tuned once a year to a regular pitch and have yearly maintenance. Tuning, regulations, verifications, voicing and optimizations are not included in the warranty. The time required for maintenance is the same as for repairs; there is no obligation on our part to compensate for lack of usage or to provide a replacement for an instrument in repair. Repair and maintenance do not extend the warranty period.
The warranty is void if the instrument is sold by the original owner or if the serial number has been modified or effaced.
Second-hand or discounted instruments are sold as-is. Grievances regarding the condition of the piano casing will not be considered.
Intervention by non-qualified persons will void the warranty.
Delivery and maintenance fees will be billed to the customer for merchandise still under warranty that is returned and found to be in good working order.
Under no circumstances is Pianos Prestige liable for unforeseen damages, indirect or immaterial, damage due to misuse of the sold material, for the incompatibility of the sold material to the user’s needs, or for any other damage due to circumstances beyond the control of Pianos Prestige.

Livraison
Paid and carriage-free deliveries always signify ground floor deliveries in front of the residence. Deliveries to upper floors are extra and billed separately.
Delivery times are approximate and are not justification for cancelling an order.
Deliveries are considered concluded on the day the merchandise is first presented to the buyer.
The client is required to verify the merchandise upon delivery before signing the delivery receipt.
All deliveries are done at the customer’s own risk despite the means of transportation used.
Any irregularity or problem concerning the delivery (damage, missing pieces, broken or damaged materials…) absolutely must be written down on the delivery receipt next to the signature, then confirmed by registered mail within 48 hours.
Out of stock items: in the event an item is out of stock for over 1 month or no longer distributed or manufactured, the buyer is informed of the situation and may at any time change the order or receive full reimbursement if payment has already been made.
Recommendations upon delivery :
Take the time to verify the good condition of your piano.
In the event of a problem, write it down on the delivery receipt.
Confirm your claims to the transportation company via registered mail within 48 hours; keep copies for your records and contact us.

The Terms and Conditions of Sale are regulated by French law. Any and all claims will be settled by the Tribunal de Commerce of Aix-en-Provence.

Personal information is kept strictly confidential. In accordance with the law of 6 January 1978, we don’t keep any information unrelated to the proper handling of your order.
You have the right to consult and rectify information that concerns you.


Several options are available for financing your piano through our partner, Cetelem :
1) Interest free financing for 6, 9 or 12 months.
2) Deferred financing, buy today and pay your first instalment in 3 months.
3) Long term financing for 12 to 120 months.
All these options are subject to approval by Cetelem based on your application for credit, whatever the purchase price may be.
If your application is complete, a response is assured within 24 hours.
